Buhari Sacks Media Chief

Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari has sacked the heads of the country's state-owned media.

No reason was given for the dismissal of the heads of television and radio, the News Agency of Nigeria, the National Broadcasting Commission and the National Orientation Agency.
They were all appointed by former President Goodluck Jonathan who lost to Mr Buhari in elections in March last year.
The sacked officials have been ordered to hand over to the most senior officials in their various agencies, Nigeria's information minister says in a statement.
