President of the entire Nigeria. Your frequent cancellation of trips to the southern part of the country is sending a wrong signal. You cancelled an important visit to lagos for a flimsy reason only for pictures to be put out showing you in a happy mood in your office.
Now again it is rumored that you are going to pass on a good opportunity to assure the people of the Niger Delta that you mean well for them. I doubt if your handlers are wise. Your perception managers ought to tell you that slowly but gradually you are loosing the people.
In my capacity as a credible voice in opposition but one who wishes you to succeed for our nation must make progress. I want to advice you to review things. There are a few good strategic thinkers in your party that my numerous engagements have made me respect. You need to bring them in. You cannot apply the military on civilians especially what occurred with the agitators of Biafra. That is not the solution.
I get your position not to compromise the cooperate existence of our beloved country but you must give the south easterners a sense of belonging. As for the Niger Delta until we solve the environmental degradation problems it will be a reoccurring challenge.
In this regard you are better off calling their local leaders to help out. This is not the time to grandstand and act marcho. Your Excellency I trust you are in good health. Have a safe trip to Senegal.
