olamide and phyno confirm year end releases for upcoming albums

If any two artists can say that they “ran the game” this year, it’s definitely Olamide and Phyno. The duo combined for the song of the year, “Fada Fada” which tore up the Nigerian charts but they are still not done.

Both Olamide and Phyno have just announced that their upcoming studio albums will be releasing towards the end of the year.

Phyno will be releasing his second LP in November and revealed that it will be titled “Playmaker P”. No artwork or tracklisting has been released yet but you can be sure that we’re going to hear a few tracks and get a glimpse of the album in the coming months. Phyno, whose first album “No Gutz No Glory” was a massive hit in 2014, confirmed that “Fada Fada” will be a bonus single on his next album.

We’re not really going to have time to rest at the end of the year because shortly after he releases this record, Olamide will be following it up with his 6th studio album. Olamide is one of the hardest workers in the music industry and has released an album every year ever since his debut LP came out in 2011.

His label, YBNL, has also pushed two of the biggest albums of the year so far. Adekunle Gold’s “Gold” album and Lil Kesh’s “Yagi”.

Will he and Phyno own this Christmas period?..
